Marty's yodeling ending to "The Way I Am" last night at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Amazing.
Prefab Sprout - Rebel Land

A rare gem by Prefab Sprout, now set to video. Using footage from their other videos, it's amazing how easy (and fun) it was to create something that could pass as somewhat authentic. Cheers.

Paddy McAloon and the gang from Newcastle never really broke through here in the States, but their music lives on with my video tribute. Cheers.

1973 New York Mets: Road to the Pennant
Просмотров 54 тыс.11 лет назад
In last place on Aug. 30th, the 1973 Mets won 24 of 33 and took the NL East with just an 82-79 record. The Amazins then upset Cincinnati's "Big Red Machine" in 5 games to win the National League pennant. Ya gotta believe! Watch and listen as Lindsey Nelson, Ralph Kiner and Bob Murphy interview the players and recap the Mets' wild dash to their 2nd pennant in 5 years.
The New York Mets: Part 1 (1962)
Просмотров 29 тыс.11 лет назад
The Mets' were born and National League baseball was back in New York. And what a season it was! They set a modern-day mark for the worst season on record with 40 wins and 120 losses. But they still outdrew the Yankees ;-) This is Part 1 of my 12-part collection celebrating the first 45 years of the New York Mets. Let's Go Mets!

Been there - done this. Commercials are the number one reason I no longer watch TV or engage with the radio. I'm full - there's NO MORE ROOM. Once one understands commercials are the reason those advertised products cost more than the unadvertised ones - the entire concept becomes self defeating - unless you are a sheep.

Love the old commercials they were the greatest. And Geico commercials with Maxwell the Pig, the cave men, the Gecko lizard…..they were hilarious and very entertaining. Not today, though, there are very …..how can I say it, boringly. I don’t watch any commercials today, I refuse to be bothered by them, I turned the TV to another channel and that’s it. I guess nothing is good today not even music!!! The music I listen to in 2024 is from 1999 and back. Nothing beats the good old music with great artists and musicians who were icons of great music in great decades. THANK YOU Mr. Tom Crimmins for sharing this wonderful video of past commercials, it is very enjoyable and entertaining indeed. It is appreciated. 👍🙌👏👏
